Workshops & Schools’ Programmes

Adult Master Classes

We organize a range of workshops and masterclasses for teachers, parents, thespians, hospitality staff and rights-based organisations on a variety of topics, including, How to tell a Good Story – The Art of Storytelling; Storytelling for Kids; and Adapting Novels for Performance.

School Programmes

We also organize storytelling performances and workshops at schools for both primary and secondary students.

We have partnered with various schools, institutions and festivals with children’s programs, including: Braeside School; Rosslyn Academy, Kenya National Library Services; Storymoja Festival; Somali Heritage Week; Sigana Storytelling Festival; Hargeisa International Book Festival, Edinburgh Storytelling Festival and the Singapore Storytelling Festival

For older kids, we can work with them to bring their set texts to life through a series of workshops.

Thank you for an incredible and engaging performance. I just debriefed with my 8th graders and it was great to hear their feedback. The stories you told will stick with them. One class spontaneously broke out in singing Shela! And another talked about the impact of audience participation. Several mentioned your personal story of following your passions very impactful on their lives. Thank you for sharing all of it.

Storytelling for Grown Folk!

We also tell stories for adults. Our shows can be a great addition to your event! We have performed on a variety of platforms including at the LSE Alumni Conference; the African Leadership Centre; and at an ALX event.

Note:

  • We can tailor our shows and workshops to suit your needs
  • The cost of performances varies depending on whether we are creating new material commissioned by you, or sharing existing content.
  • For commissioned shows, we need a booking at least six weeks in advance.

We’d love to
hear from you
